Printswoodcuts and collagraphs

Harry's  early prints attracted the attention of Kneeland McNulty, curator of prints and drawings at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. There are four pieces in the permanent collection in the Perelman Building and one piece miscatalogued and lost in the archives. Throughout his career, Harry has worked in all mediums with one area surfacing and dominating his work flow for a period of time, only to give way to another. This ebb and flow produced the eclectic body of work you see on these pages. Prints, woodcuts and collagraphs surfaced as the dominant medium around the turn of the 21st century. All works are hand-pulled in short editions. Prints that he has chosen to draw over are not included here. Prints that are hand colored are included.
